What is WARMER?
WARMER is an interactive conceptual word game where players attempt to uncover a hidden secret word using semantic proximity. Unlike traditional letter-based word games (like Wordle, where clues tell you whether letters match specific positions), WARMER measures conceptual meaning.
Every word you guess receives a numerical Rank. Rank #1 is the secret target word itself. A guess with Rank #15 means that in human language and conceptual associations, that word is among the 15 closest concepts to the secret target.

How does a computer know that "sun" is closer to "warmth" than to "refrigerator"?
WARMER utilizes word embedding algorithms derived from modern computational linguistics (specifically the GloVe — Global Vectors for Word Representation model). Through unsupervised machine learning trained over billions of tokens of literature, encyclopedias, and human communication, each word is mapped to a vector coordinate in a 300-dimensional semantic geometric space.
When you submit a guess, WARMER computes the cosine similarity between your word's vector coordinate and the secret word's vector coordinate. The higher the geometric cosine similarity, the closer the concepts are in human semantic intuition.
